On December 2, the team headed by Bao Hua, vice-dean of CIE-ECUST visited the Shanghai Institute of Chemical Engineering with the view of expanding approaches to educating international students and developing practice bases for them, and they were cordially welcomed by Mai Yongyi, vice-dean of SHICE.
Bao stated the basic information about the foreign students at ECUSTand introduced the conception about the practice base, hoping to conduct exchanges and cooperation with SHICE as regards international student education and construct practice bases for ECUSTforeign students. Mai said that SHICE bore a longstanding partnership with ECUST in scientific research and student cultivation, and they were willing to further cooperate withECUSTin international student education. Afterward, the two parties talked over the cooperation in form and content, and reached a preliminary agreement on internship and employee training for foreign students.
Bao Hua also visited the newly built exhibition hall of the Shanghai Institute of Chemical Engineering.
